The MEND Board of Trustees is pleased to announce its new Officers:
- A. Jabbar Abdi, Chair
- Karen Hartshorn Hilton, Vice Chair
- Kate Cahill, Treasurer
- Claire Sinclair, Secretary
Jamie R. Anthony, Jr., who has led the organization as its first Board Chair since 2010, will become a Trustee Emeritus (and will continue to help drive The Green Bean, as needed!).
“I am humbled and honored to have been elected as the next Chair of MEND,” said Abdi. “I want to thank Jamie for his excellent leadership and vision. Jaime’s compassion for people and dedication to the mission of MEND has provided a blueprint that we plan to build upon moving forward. As we continue to serve the needs of our member pantries and clients in the community, I am excited about working with our Board and staff to broaden our impact.”
