This is just a portion of the 7000+ diapers, wipes, and ointment collected by Claire Sinclair of Maplewood on behalf of MEND food pantry Interfaith of the Oranges. An incredible feat in less than 2 weeks. MEND is so grateful to Claire Sinclair and her donors who are primarily in SOMA. It is heartbreaking that diapers of all things are one of biggest challenges to provide to low-income mothers, they are not covered by SNAP and so expensive… there are few avenues for sourcing diapers at less than full retail cost, and the Community Food Bank of NJ has been out of stock for a very long time.
